Bell Plastics unique process for producing mandrels ensure all products are produced free from voids/holes. The process conditions during steel wire spiral hose manufacture demand a mandrel with high tensile strength. Steel poles can be used but limit hose length and the process becomes cumbersome. Bell Plastics nylon mandrels provide our customers a flexible mandrel with sufficient tensile strength and the absence of voids prevent unexpected breaks and necking.
