Abrasion Resistant Films/Foils

Bell Plastics Ltd manufactures extreme abrasion resistant PE films. There are 2 films available:

Bellguard HMWPE: manufactured  by extrusion, Bellguard HMWPE has abrasion resistance equal to UHMWPE, but is available at lower cost. Properties include:

• Extreme abrasion resistance
• Low surface friction coefficient
• 0.15mm to 0.5mm thickness, 30mm to 500mm width
• Operating temperature -40oC to 70oC
• Available in most colours (tailored to requirements subject to a minimum 300kg requirement)

UHMWPE: manufactured through compression moulding and subsequent skiving process, UHMWPE has the following properties:

• Extreme abrasion resistance
• Low surface friction coefficient
• 0.1mm to 0.6mm thickness, 30mm to 150mm width
• Operating temperature -40oC to 80oC
• Avalaible natural, white, black
